hair assistant — **shampoo technician** (Assistant)

The role of the colour specialist is to provide guests with excellent service and to provide services such as shampooing, colouring, perming and styling of hair. Some colour specialists may do services such as extensions and special occasion hair based on their training. In addition, the specialist will educate the salon guest in all areas of product knowledge and styling techniques. They will also live and demonstrate the Storm Guiding Principles and Beliefs, utilize these in the performance of their job, and will be a Team player in every moment.

The role of the hair stylist is to provide guests with excellent service and to provide services such as shampooing, cutting, and styling of hair. In addition, the stylist will educate salon guests in all areas of product knowledge and styling techniques. They will also live and demonstrate the Storm Guiding Principles and Beliefs, utilize these in the performance of their job, and will be a team player in every moment.

Duties include assisting a Senior Stylist or Colourist. This may include performing stress relieving treatments, hand massage on clients for your stylist or colourist and finishing of clients. Must be able to work during the day Tuesday - Saturday. Opening and mid shifts available.

Guest Experience Be aware of which guests are arriving next

Warm greeting and farewell Offer guests beverages and snacks, etc. Anticipate guests needs Set up stylists for the next clientShampoo and condition clients hair

Salon Duties Stylist stations set up for every guest

Aware of when a stylists service is ending so you can tidy up station and ensure it’s ready for next guest Shampoo area neat and clean after every shampoo Capes and towels are updated, folded, put away Bowls and brushes cleaned and put back Immediately cleaning any colour that gets on chairs or floors Salon floor swept Anything out of place is put away. Opening and Closing standards followed Light inventory & lifting boxes. Anticipate stylists needs and be one step ahead. Help other team members when applicable
